Play Therapy

https://www.a4pt.org/page/WhyPlayTherapy

A Play Therapist is someone who has completed schooling and specific training around play to help others work through issues and better understand themselves. They have also completed several hours of supervision with someone who is experienced in using play with clients in the Counseling setting. While Therapists may us play or art in therapy, they are not a true Play Therapist without the above criteria being met. Play and Expressive Therapy offers people alternative ways to communicate and process through concerns. Many of the Trilogy Counselors use play or art as a medium when working with clients as appropriate. We find this offers a richer therapy experience and opportunity to delve deeper into concerns brought to session.
